craftsmanMKE. llc was founded in 2018. My name is Jeff Perkins and I have 30 years of experience in fabrication and building with thousands of projects completed. I do not sub-contract. I try to approach every project, large or small, as if it was my own. No job is too small, some jobs may be too big (there are times when a crew of specialists are the best fit). If needed I can provide design input and/or creative solutions to your project.
Carpentry
Anything in wood. Finish and rough carpentry. Interior or Exterior. Repairs and install of trim, chair rail, crown, baseboard, casing, etc. Siding, paneling.
Door and window install or repair.
Decks
Wood, PVC, engineered lumber, composites, etc.
Repairs
Almost anything in the building except appliances. In some cases, determining and remedying the cause of the failure is the best path forward before making the repair. Furniture repairs (if it’s antique or high value I recommend a restoration expert).
Epoxy and Composite
At times, epoxy is the best or only solution for a quality repair. I use marine epoxy to repair wood, and in some cases, in new installations requiring a higher level of protection.
Handyman
Put together a list and I will “knock it out” for you.
Masonry and Tile
Interior tile floors, walls, backsplashes, and bathrooms. Tuck-pointing. Masonry repairs. Deck footings. Waterproofing. Stone or brick veneer work. I don’t take on large slab installations or drain tile work.
Custom Work and Fabrication
Usually not the first option for cost effectiveness, but if it makes sense I build cabinets, doors, window frames, or anything else.
Skidster – Bobcat
I have a compact Bobcat. Good for small jobs. The jackhammer attachment allows me to perform concrete slab removal such as sidewalks or patios.
Sheet Metal
We absolutely LOVE the new closets, doors, trim, and lighting! You did exceptional work, and the end result is even better than we could have hoped for. You are an absolute pleasure to work with, and we hope we can work together (or, share a drink or two) again!!
